Benjamin R. Parmer

Experience

Ben Parmer joined WJE in 2022, bringing experience in civil and structural engineering and project management. Mr. Parmer has contributed to a diverse range of structural analysis and repair projects, including condition assessments, analytical modeling, repair design, and construction administration. He is frequently involved in the assessment and repair of concrete and steel structures and has developed experience in structural systems incorporating light‑gauge steel, cast and wrought iron, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Prior to WJE, Mr. Parmer served five years as an Engineer Officer in the United States Army, where he supervised a wide range of engineering missions. While stationed at Fort Hood, he directed structural evaluations, oversaw explosives demolition operations, and managed multiple rehabilitation and construction projects. In his final year of service, Mr. Parmer supported combat engineer modernization initiatives.
